Hi everyone, just wanted to ask a quick question on how those who do macrophotography film/photograph your ants. I've been meaning to get a macro lens and new camera and would be open to suggestions (such as which camera and macro lens mounts are ideal). I also wanted to ask whether a simpler phone mount like moment or apexel lenses would be worth it or rather to just stick with the camera option. Currently I only keep a Camponotus sp. ant so they're relatively large and easier to photograph I presume.

Get good led lighting and if you have a smart phone manufactured within the past few years with a good macro clip on, you will look like a pro.
