oh yea ik where reddding is. That’s not too far away from me. It’s about an hour and 30 min up north which isn’t horrible. But I haven’t gone there in years. I do plan on going to lots of different places around here in nor cal when I turn 16 because that’s when I can drive.

I also may have forgot sp that I have seen. Which is partly the main reason why I am making this. Like how just now I added two more sp for Oroville. I added camponotus hyatti and crematogaster sp.

I have been editing the post and adding more and more sp that I remember. Today I added Sacramento which at the zoo there I had found Prenolespis imparis and Formica Moki. Anytime I had a large amount of stuff I will notify. Also I do not have one sp on there the list which is Veromessor chicoensis. I do not have the sp on there because It is a spot for me to catch them and I don't want people to be catching them and selling them and profiting off of them.

Hey tacticalhandlegaming! Montgomery creek is really close to Redding. If you ever go to visit your family in Redding you could go check out some of the ants there. I didn't have much time to look and its winter so most sp are gone.

Your "sayi" I think is far more likely to be the red version of essigi. Considering how far north it is, and that sayi is usually an arid species, essigi makes far more sense.

Unless you have properly keyed them out of course, then disregard this comment.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Added more species and fixed miss ids. For most of the miss ids I put groups on them instead of sp. If there are any errors or mistakes of mine, feel free to comment. If you have any questions or want specifics on the location for a species, feel free to ask.
