I'm getting an error when I want to upload videos from my phone.

These videos are mp4 files and are withing the allowed size limits for the posts. They aren't 4K or even HD, I have a 2015 smart phone (good enough for my uses but I might upgrade it just for the video).

I've tried to convert them to avi but no good anyways...

My workaround has been uploading them privately on YouTube, but when and if I remove them you won't be able to see them here any longer.

So, any hint on how can I do this? File formats, resolutions, etc., what is accepted here for video?
Thanks!

You can’t directly upload videos on here. You can put small gifs, or links to YouTube or Google Drive videos instead.

"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25

Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

I have no problem uploading the videos privately on YouTube, it has its advantages. The thing is that by storing them outside this forum, when and if I remove them they won't be available here any longer.

Not a complaint, just an observation. I understand the weight of storing videos and all its downsides, so for me it's an acceptable compromise.

Cheers!
