I just caught a Strumigenys queen and i was wondering what setup is best for them.

Began antkeeping in 2018  :)

Not sure what to post anymore, couldn't find any new queen ants to continue my journal. Will probably post some random posts every now and then but probably won't be posting much.

Dirt setup. In a small vial. I haven't kept but I did have a colony a while back.

Young ant keeper with a decent amount of knowledge on local ant species.

YouTube: https://m.youtube.co...uKsahGliSH7EqOQ (It's pretty dead. Might upload again soon, don't expect my voice to sound the same though.)

Currently kept ant species: Camponotus parius, Ooceraea biroi, Carebara cf. diversa, Tapinoma sp. (formerly Zatapinoma), Tetraponera nigra, Polyrhachis cf. abdominalis, Lophomyrmex sp., Echinopla cf. striata, Anochetus sp., Crematogaster cf. ferrarii, Pheidole parva

Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.
