Solenopsis molesta.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

This is embarrassing I posted this is the wrong thread. Is there a way to move it or should I repost?

Solenopsis molesta looks pretty spot on. Also is these worth trying to start anything with or would she be best going back into the world? I am currently waiting on my first ever nanitics from one of queens, so I have no other colonies established.

in my opinion, you should always collect as many queens as you can in case your other queens die.

I am learning this is indeed a preferred route. I have 15-20 queens currently and many brood piles yet still nothing looking promising. Worse case is the accidentally collected Solonopsis Richteri has a chance but I'm not raising those lol
