Please follow the proper ID format next time. We will also need better pictures to get a positive ID. 


Ants are Pets, not Pests. 

 

-Camponotus sansabeanus

-Camponotus vicinus

-Formica podzolica

-Monomorium spp.

-Pogonomyrmex californicus

-Solenopsis spp.

what is the proper ID format? could you also please be more specific then "better pictures"

The ID format is pinned at the top of the Ant ID section so that you see it. We need close pictures of a higher quality. A macro lens or pics through a microscope would be ideal. I see you have some microscope pictures, in that case I would just try to see if you can get pictures that are a little less blurry.

Also try to get microscope pictures of the whole ant, not just parts of it.
