I'm with you on scientific accuracy. I wrote two kiddie books with both accuracy AND coolness in mind. Though I mean the bugs walk, talk, use weapons, etc. I also wrote about the differences between the book and real bugs at the end of the books, just so people don't think queens really rule a colony, etc.
