Nothing to say rn. Just getting this made so it's ready to go. I have a bit of info on them though. I reserved a $40 colony from cocdeshijie. I had to wait a month for them to get workers and I ordered a customized mini hearth for them to. The hearth is lime green and has a nest mate to. I will be moving them into the hearth as soon as I get them. I will be posting lot's of pics to. Gonna be getting them sometime next week.

They arrived!!! They are very cool looking. I will post pictures tomorrow of them in the hearth if they move. I go them with 5-8 workers and tons of other cocoons. I dumped them into the hearth. I of course set the queen and most of the brood inside of the outworld carefully. The workers that weren't coming out were just dumped. I am very exited to be raising these guys! Might post some pics today.....

Last night I put the queen inside of the hearth along with 1 worker. The rest of the colony and brood was still on top of the outworld. I got a q-tip and started to carefully drop them down inside of the hole that goes down into the nest. I also got the workers to go in. When I got to the last worker. It was the most stubborn and annoying. It would not go down. I decided to just leave it alone and let it find it's own way down inside of the nest. Eventually after 20 min a worker from inside of the nest comes out to take a look in the outworld. That worker finds that one and it looks like it told the stubborn one where they all went. Then they both went back down inside of the nest. I will only be checking on them every week during founding. I will be feeding them every 2 days. They will have a byformica feeder inside of the outworld at all times. The color of the sugar water is green also. Some decided to get some and you can easily see the green inside of them. Can't wait to grow this colony! Will be posting pics later today.

I love this species, The workers have the cutest derpy little faces. I wish I could have a small Dog sized mexicanus worker as a friend that could follow me around town all day. Her name would be PumpkinButt because I'd feed her orange food and she would have a big fat orange gaster. Her nickname would be Pumperlump.

This colony is doing decently ok right now. They are soon to get their second generation of workers soon also hopefully repletes. They have 2 cocoons and around 5 larvae. The queen is acting as a replete right now too. Here's some pictures below! They are at 10 workers right now and still haven't gotten any new workers since last update.

Well bad news. The queen died out of no where. I think the humidity was to high in the nest. Here’s a pic of the dead queen.
