Hey there,first queen i've found outside of a military camp in a while.I found this queen in Nafplio,Greece at the beach(!) at around 11:30 am.The surrounding area has bushes and shrubs and generally low vegetation and seems like a dry place overall.There are though a lot of well watered gardens with all sorts of plants all around.And of course next to the sea.She measures around 0.8 cm and is light brown/orange and her head is a mix of red and orange although it is not well depicted.Thank you for checking this thread:)

Little hard to see, but looks like a Pheidole species to me.

Little hard to see, but looks like a Pheidole species to me.


Crappy pics is my specialty Thank you,it looked like pheidole to me too but she is a bit bigger than what I'm used to
