I have never owned a formicarium but I have 2 Tetramorium queens and 1 Lasius niger queen in test tubes. I hope to learn a lot from this community and teach others as well.

I've looked at pictures and the queens look exactly like mine. Possibly the same genus?

Probably same genus. Lasius is one of the most widely distributed genuses.

Thank you! My handle is from my username in Planetside 2. I was trying to figure out a good name but they were all taken. I typed in "ThisNameIsTaken" and it said that that was taken. My brother said, "Behold, a prophet!" and I guess it stuck.
