In my area tetramorium immigrans are very common. I would say maybe in most city’s of Northern California I have found at least a few colony’s in one place. I live in the subs with a bunch of nice houses and pavement everywhere. I believe the tetras have killed off a few native species of ants or almost have cause there are no ants here at all. For example most people will have at least one camponotus species in there back yard or something. But I have only seen one camponotus speciesism my area before which was camponotus sayi. There is a colony living in my front yard somewhere but I can’t find where they are nesting. I will see a worker very rarely. The most common ants in my neighborhood that I have seen are monomorium minimum or ergatogyna and tapinoma sessile. Those are most common and are found everywhere. Some other species that I have found and see every now and then or only seen once are hypoponera opacior, pheidole Californica, solenopsis molesta and etc. there are a few other invasive species I have found in different parts of my town like linepithema humile, tetramorium immigrans and brachy pat which seem to be the most common invasive ants here. I have only found tetras in the part of my town that I live in. Then in different parts have town I have seen argies everywhere which sucks cause my town is known for farming. On the outside of my town it’s all farming for miles. Nor cal is also KNOWN for farming. If you drive around here passing towns all you see is farming. But with brachys I have only found queens and alates at black lights before. I have caught 10 queens black lighting a few times. I have never seen a worker before somehow. I think I’m done typing now I also went off topic a bit…

I think that sometimes it just glitches out without the poster hitting it twice.
