This would cover anything above and beyond a simple setup or something prefabricated.   Prefab nests/ outworlds are GREAT, I'm not trying to disrespect them, because they're AWESOME.  It's awesome to design something that so many others want to use for their own ants... but that's not what I'm talking about here.

I'll post pics of the two 'non-traditional' setups I have already, and just post my current ideas here.

The first idea is to build a formicarium on the back of a setup I currently have planned, but have not built yet.  It would go on the back of a VERY large palludarium, using a 55 gallon aquarium as the "water feature", it'll be 5f tall, 4f wide and 3f deep.   The formicarium (I think I'm going with Pogonomyrmex for this one, from THA) will be 2 feet wide, but 4 feet tall, by about an inch 'deep.'  There will be a 6 inch high, 1 foot "deep" and 2.5 foot wide outworld mounted on top (being 6'4 this will put them at my eye level)

The second idea I JUST had was to build one out of Lego and plexiglass.   Outworld and all.   This is a BRAND new idea and will be sealed with flex seal spray (CLEAR)

What about you guys???
