Recently I found colobopsis mississipiensis in my state which was previously unrecorded. I'm in possession of three queens with wings, but there doesn't seem to be too much on the topic of caring for this species though. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with this species that can share some tips for me!  :D

Pictures?

Very nice find!

I'm personally not too surprised though, they have been found on Long Island by an Intauralist member, and Connecticut isn't too far away.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Starting this July I'm posting videos of my ants every week on youTube.

I like to make relaxing videos that capture the joy of watching ants.

Awesome! Try putting the queens together if possible, I heard they don't found when alone.
