I got a colony of Vollenhovia Emeryi today with four queens and about 25 workers. I won't update this much until they move out of their test tube.
Thanks to OiledOlives/Atlantic ants for supplying this colony.

They made it hard to feed them and not get escapees so I moved them into a tubes and tubes sey up they are growing fast.

I moved them out of the outworld because they loved to drown themselves on the Olive oil barrier they lost about 10 workers but they are growing fast and still have 4+ queens.

I finally found a outworld that works the esthetic ants mini outworld was slightly too small for the test tube to fit, so with a bit of tape I got it to work. They are doing well and I see them foraging often.

They have had a large boom in population. They now have about 30+ workers and last night they had the biggest feeding reaction ever about 10 feeding on the roach . I also came up with a name for them they are The Little Lesbian Army, because most or all of the queens are not matted and only females appear in the nest. Technically they are asexual but that doesn't sound as good.

They are still growing fast. They seem to like insects more than chicken. Pictures coming soon.

They are doing well the have almost doubled in population since I've got them.

Chicken wasn't as big of a hit as roaches but they still like it.

They loved the egg yolk I gave them yesterday. I'm leaving today for a week so expect no updates until Monday next week.

Late update with pictures!!
They have been changing their test tube and made a nest area with pulled cotton. Huge growth in population still no new queens but they are still a small colony.

For Vollenhovia I usually send colonies with more queens than ordered.
