What is the ideal temperature for ants?

What’s the best temperature for P. californicus to be heated at? I have them at 80 degrees fahrenheit right now, which is what THA suggests for occidentalis. Also, can you heat Tetramorium and Solenopsis during founding?

I keep them in the mid 80's-90's.


Ants are Pets, not Pests. 

 

-Camponotus sansabeanus

-Camponotus US-CA02

-Camponotus vicinus

-Formica podzolica

-Monomorium spp.

-Pogonomyrmex californicus

-Solenopsis spp.
