Looking to buy ants in Vancouver, for a photoshoot

Hello,

 

I don't really know anything about ants, but I need some for a photoshoot we're doing for an extermination company.  It's happening next week in Vancouver.  We don't plan to exterminate the ants, just let them run around our tiny little set for a while.  They should be large enough so they won't look like mere dots in the photograph.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why not ordering some pogonomyrmex from ants alive? http://www.antsalive...y-live-ants.htmThey are a pretty good size, with the only downside is that they sting.it says they will get to a us or Canadian resent in 3 to 10 days however... do you have that kind of time?

always find a Pogonomyrmex colony and get them that way then bring them back home when ur done...

Solenopsis Invicta,  Solenopsis xyloni,  Brachymyrmex depilis/Sp,  Myrmecocystus Mimicus,  Pogonomyrmex barbatus,

Forelius pruinosus,  Camponotus sayi, Dorymyrmex insanus, crematogaster ashmeadi,

I don't thing there are any pogonomyrmex in Vancouver...

Try posting it on Kijiji, I know there are at least 4 ant enthusiests in Vancouver.  And they all follow Kijiji and aren to much for forums. 

Pogonomyrmex are not native, the largest you will get will be the Camponotus species.
