I have a newly caught Camponotus queen and she does nt seen happy with her test tube setup she is constantly just trying to escape. Is there anything i can do? Or will she calm down on her own.

If you give her a quiet dark place she will calm down ... but there's a good chance she's going to get stressed and do it everytime you check on her... which can make it seem like she's doing it all the time.

Put her somewhere dark and quiet with the least vibrations you can and she will calm down.

Camponotus queens always do this. It is natural and will stop on its own once she settles down.
