That queen died a while ago. Bit when I was acting in golden I lifted a rock and found a 1 queen like 20 worker colony! They have been living in a simple test tube set up until yesterday when I moved them into a test tube with coco fiber.pretty sure this is the queen but it's hard to see:

It seems like you're repeating your mistakes. All of the previous setups seem similar to this one. Ponera will take smaller insects in captivity iirc. I've seen pre-killed baby roaches fed to them before. The setups also seem far too moist.
A post I found that could help: Looking for detailed explanation on how to get a Ponera pennsylvanica colony going - General Ant Keeping - Ants & Myrmecology Forum (formiculture.com)

Young ant keeper with a decent amount of knowledge on local ant species.

YouTube: https://m.youtube.co...uKsahGliSH7EqOQ (It's pretty dead. Might upload again soon, don't expect my voice to sound the same though.)

Currently kept ant species, favorites have a star in front of their names (NOT in alphabetical order, also may be outdated sometimes): Camponotus irritans inferior, Ooceraea biroi, Pheidole parva, Nylanderia sp., Paraparatrechina tapinomoides, Platythyrea sp., Anochetus sp., Colobopsis sp. (cylindrica group), Crematogaster ferrarii, Polyrhachis (Myrma) cf. pruinosa, Polyrhachis (Cyrtomyrma) laevissima, Tapinoma sp. (formerly Zatapinoma)

Death count: Probably over a hundred individual queens and colonies by now. I cannot recall whatsoever.

The single queen died of dehydration and they seem to be doing well in this habitat at the moment. The reason I didn't put them in a petri dish nest is because I don't have any petri dishes at the moment but will try to get some soon. Thanks for the advice!

EDIT: I have them on a diet of springtails at the moment.

I can say, having kept a 40-worker strong workerless colony, that they are sensitive to not having water and usually die within a day or two.
