They haven't eaten anything for three days straight, my guess is that they are all full and there are no larvae present.

Same thing is going on with my queen.

Something terrible happened! The two storey chamber they created collapsed! I don't know when or why it collapsed but luckily all the workers, brood and queen survived.  :(

Also they reconstructed parts of it so they can still have access to the lower chamber (only half of the chamber collapsed)

Don't worry, only half of it collapsed and all the ants (including the queen) and brood survived.

My guess is that it probably collapsed sometime between 10pm and 4am because I checked them before I went to bed (around 10pm) and everything was still fine and all the ants are at the lower chamber and that it would have taken hours to search for all the brood (only eggs, no larvae yet) and rebuild everything. The floor of the upper chamber (which is the ceiling of the lower chamber) is slanted.

I spotted a larva, and it has grown to about twice the size of an egg. Well, it turns out they do have a larva, they are just hiding it away from me.

I spotted two more larvae so that makes a total of 3 larvae now. Also, I think they are starting to hunt down the springtails present in the test tube

Lot's of growing larvae! I counted 6 larvae and they hid most of the eggs to the lower chamber. You can try to compare this pic with older pics but it's quite hard to see the damage cause the rebuilt it already.

Oh noes!! Give them a little variety. Try termite alates and cricket legs. If you need termite alates, Microcerotermes are in season!!

I rarely ever see termite alates fly into my home, thought they will still eat dubia roaches. Also my Coptotermes pair's eggs recently hatched, I spotted about 3 nymphs but they are very hard to see cuz they are on the cotton which is white and the termite nymphs are also white.

I wonder why termites grow so slowly despite being smaller than some ants.

Being small doesn't necessarily mean growing faster, but it can. Take Prenolepis imparis for example, egg to workers is about 3 months despite being a lot smaller than Camponotus, who (at least in NA) generally has a faster egg to worker time than that.
