Has something like this been created?  I was thinking something as simple as a thread that everyone can subscribe to.  The only posts allowed would be notices of flights; what you saw, where, time of day, etc.  No discussion allowed type of thing. Or we could create a massive GroupMe group or regional ones.  Just a thought, I'm pretty new here so I imagine you've already discussed this topic.

The mating chart is close, as it shows trends, or sometimes alerts about alates in the nests.

 

Other than that, flights are often very localized, sometimes just following a small storm.  While many here may be from California, this would be a very complicated system. 

For desert dwellers - watch the thunderstorms.  For those in California, drew and many other members are excellent at reporting.

 

The rest of us get to look up previous flights, watch the sidewalks, check the pools. etc.  :D

There is a a group on Facebook - the Ant Nuptial Trackers Society (ANTS) - They post flights as they seem them real time, so it is handy if you check facebook on your phone- especially if you see something taking off in your general area of the country.

AntMan, go on Facebook, do a search and then click on the tab for Groups.  Should pop right up for you.  FB has changed their search results page again, less intuitive now.
