I’m thinking she’s some kind of camponotus but I’m still very new to all of this. I was given this queen by my cousin who decided he was too impatient to keep her. If it helps she was found in his back garden under a birdbath.

Looks like Camponotus novaeboracensis, maybe. I think I see a dark red thorax but it's a little hard to tell.
