1. Location of collection: mountains in Salt Lake City. Under a rock in a small cavern. No brood or other ants under the rock.
2. Date of collection: May 23, 2015
3. Habitat of collection: see #1 above.
4. Length: 10mm
5. Coloration: black shiny. Gaster changes hue as queen is moved in the light. Gets a lighter hue in different lighting
6. Distinguishing characteristics
7. Anything else distinctive
8. Nest description
