I bought a large 3d resin printer.  It's pretty awesome and with the season spinning up, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about using it for next making.  My assumption is even cured resin will be too noxious for the ants to live in, but I could use it to make molds to cast safer materials.  Anyone doing this?

No but you probably can, just clean the mold before initial use and clean the plaster after it fully cures

There's a lot of steps in getting a print from a resin printer safe to come in contact with.  I highly suggest you look into how to make their prints safe.  For one, you will need to have the printer in a separate room from everything with good ventilation because the resins release harmful fumes.  I don't know too much about them, but there's also certain ways you have to clean the prints.
