So obviously there's someone going around rating most of the journals and topics 1 star for no reason. I don't care who it is, I would just like to politely ask them to stop. I understand the importance of the rating system, but right now it's not reflecting how people actually feel about a topic. I've seen tons of good, completely inoffensive and not controversial content rated 1 star for seemingly no reason. This included the journal index, which is a very helpful tool that has no reason to be 1 star.

I'm not trying to start a debate and I'm obviously not calling anyone out, but please stop. 

 

Edit: It looks like whoever's doing it to posts might be doing it to people as well, forgot to mention that.

I rated 5. I think that person did it again. But if they are that active maybe it's multiple people. Surely one person couldn't do this so often.

Maybe. The only thing I think should be able to be rated is media, but I don't know if you can right now or if that would have to be added.

cause multiple people already had downratings on their profile, and multiple threads already were spammed with downvotes
