Hey guys!

I am currently in the process of getting a leopard gecko and all of it's necessary materials.  I thought I'd start a journal on FC, because why not!  I am currently still getting materials, but I think I know which one I am going to get.  I'll add pics of him!  I am getting him on MorphMarket in case you are interested in purchasing.  I should be purchasing him in the next week or so!  I'm really excited!

-Devi

(Name ideas are greatly appreciated!)

Adorable! I had a leopard gecko named Onyx, she was adorable. She escaped though, and I never found her...
What morph is the one you are getting?

Oh no! So sorry to hear that! What enclosure was she in? He is a Tangerine Tremper and a possible Het Eclipse... I think his name will be Cosmo. I really like that name and his coloring reminds me of a galaxy. What do you think?

I had one as well, for like 5 years. He got a tumor in his mouth though, so he had to be put down. He was very tame.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

Love the name!

My gecko was in a tank but there was a gap near the lid. She was very very young and small so she squeezed out

It may also be because this is a journal on something other than ants and this is an ant forum.  I contemplated not making it because I like to keep it mostly about ants, but in the end I thought I'd give it a try.

Cosmo came on New Year's Day, and I set him up in his enclosure.  He has a 20 gallon tank, and a standard thermogradient to regulate body heat.  He's adjusting very well, and has been eating lots of mealworms and a few waxworms, so that's great.  He really really likes it when I hold food out by his warm hide.  He'll notice it and creep up on it before pouncing on it.  I think he thinks he's sneaking up on his food.  Lol.  I don't know how much I'll update this for two reasons; there won't be much to update, and because I'm going to try to keep most of my posts here ant-related.  I'll add some pics once I get some good ones.  Thanks for the support everyone!
