Hi All,

I was previously a member when my kids got bitten by the ant keeping bug a few years ago (pun intended). that's since faded away after having various colonies from Myrmecia nigriceps, Myrmecia Pyrifomis (my favourites) through to pheidole megacephala and common house ants.

We set all the colonies free, but I recently found a camponotas consobrinus (I think) queen while doing some landscaping at my house, so I decided to see if I could help her along seeing as though I destroyed her founding chamber. She's going great and now has a nice pile of eggs and 2 pupae that are about to emerge, so I thought I'd better log back in and see what everyone is up to.

thanks and talk soon!
