I only have tetras in my pavement. They are probably the least common species in my yard, as it is ruled by native ants. I have found Formica Podzolica, Formica Fusca, Camponotus Modoc majors, Tapinoma Sessile, Solenopsis Molesta, Myrmica sp., Camponotus Vicinus, Lasius Flavus, Lasius Neoniger and a Formica Obscuripes worker. Pretty content with the ants I have.  My favorite queen find had to be Formica Obscuripes. I thought it was Pacifica at that time so it didn't make it. 

You are very lucky you have so many native ants.

This was a a pretty decent year for me I think. I found Pheidole tysoni in a local park and found Lasius neoniger queens 3 consecutive days in a row. I didn't really look for queens most of the year though so that might be why I think my flights are better.

and i found tetra queens 2 conseqtive weeks in a row they are as common as dirt here

I haven't seen camponotus and tetramorium ever in the wild before, even though they are pretty common. darn you argentines...
