I was revamping/cleaning/modifying an older formicarium and built another new one over the winter and had planned on using PVA sponges for these so I ordered them 2 months ago (Ebay/China) and they never arrived.

I realized that some household products use them and was hoping to just get something local now that I'm in a time crunch. My first hope was to find floor mop 'refills' as some floor mops o use PVA sponges but I've had no luck finding any of those the last two weeks either.

Does anyone know of any other household products that use PVA sponges?

I have used regular sponges for many other formicariums in the past and I have been lucky with those as only one sponge went moldy. But I figure why risk it if I can get better mold-resiliency using PVA sponges.

Suggestions?

I was hoping there was some products that use PVA other than mops. Already tried looking for those mop heads and could not find any in local stores. Perhaps some other cleaning/filter product? Maybe automotive uses?

buy some off of amazon. they are selling them by themselves, for a pretty good price.
