Where did you find these queens?  Also what day and what was the weather (if you remember)

Bought them but you can look at the mating chart thread and see those facts. If i catch any this year i'll post the readings of the day here and on the chart.

So this all started about a week ago but these girls were doing great and had just moved into their new nest. They had however left all their fungus in the old nest. I thought I’d help them a bit and moved it over into their new nest. So I did and all was well. . . Until the next day. When I woke up to check on them they had thrown about 70 to 80% of the fungus away and left it to die. I immediately panicked but to my delight they had left the rest on the walls and were growing it back. I then the next day started to feed them honey on tooth picks then I got a arch of clovers and started growing it. I started feeding them the clover and the fungus seemed to love it. Then I tried contacting a very helpful guy and he sold me some fungus and today it arrived and they have already started moving it in. I’ll keep you all updated but in the meantime here are some bad pics I got with a macro lens...

No pics today sadly but the fungus was all moved into the nest and as a whole the fungus has more than doubled in size and is growing like that rapid pace we all know and love. Can’t wait for more growth, ZTY out.

The fungus has been growing back at a good pace and they have started a new pile of the stuff. I threw in a boat load of clovers earlier today and i'm hoping that will help fuel their fungus growth. ZTY out.

Things are doing great. Fungus is growing back rapidly and they have really amped up brood production. On the outside there are at least 10 pupae and a but load of larvae. At this rate I suspect they will fill the box in completely with fungus by 2027. Let’s just hope they make it that long. Thanks for sticking with this colony through ups and downs. ZTY out
