Yeah. That's it though. And I never got a second miniplete. And it never grew any bigger. Not trying to sound like I'm complaining. There's just a shocking difference in our colonies developments.

Hmph, I suppose you have a point, I think eventually yours's will catch up anyways, every queen is not the same after all.

Wow, it’s definitely been a bit since I last updated this thread, in that case...

Update! The colony is at...50-ish workers? There are a lot of them, and it’s surely more than 40, that’s all I can say. 2 new repletes, and a lot more brood, they eat too many fruit flies.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).
