Hello once again!

I am in need of some knowledge, as I have never preserved an insect before. I contacted the entomology department of a university in my state asking for further details on identifying my unknown Temnothorax sp., and they requested that I send them a worker preserved in alcohol. How exactly would I go about preserving them, and how would I properly store them for shipping?
