the SDS isn't very helpful as the main ingredient is proprietary, I'm guessing it is just PTFE or some other fluorinated polymer. the price/volume is pretty attractive though

I just use baby powder at the moment, as the species I keep either aren't escape artists or their colonies are small (mostly the former, though).

I have plenty of the ByFormica fluon, so I don't need anything at the moment, but I would imagine a spray bottle would be too inaccurate and spread out to use for outworlds. I mean it would work, but you would have a lot of excess spray and it would be more unsightly than a band of fluon or baby powder.

Yes you can. Or dip a brush in the bottle and apply a small 1 inch band. Sounds good still.You could spray it on a cloth and spread it in the outworld that way.
