I finally managed to get my hands on one of these colonies, at a good price to, it came with 6 workers, 2 pupae (one looks like its about to eclose), and a teeny tiny batch of eggs. I'm going to put these in a V2 setup as soon as I get talcum powder later today, as I don't have fluon. The queen is GIANT compared to my other queens.

Following a series of deaths, which killed off 4 of my workers, I came to the conclusion that since this was a queen from last season, the first/second gen has started to die off, which explains why they all died within days of each other. Now they have 2 workers and a batch of a dozen eggs. They did have a pupa, which started darkening and was just sitting there for a while. I finally decided to open it today and found that it had probably died a while ago, as it was black. Obviously, due to lack of workers, I decided to just keep them in a test tube until they start to grow in numbers.

Bought a colony of these gals couple months back, it has 30 workers and 2 medians. Yesterday, I went hunting and caught a bunch of these queens as well. Pictures coming soon

Caught a bunch of these queens on the 30th of march.
Set them up in groups of 2 and 3, with a bunch of single queens as well.
They all laid eggs as soon as I put them in my incubator at 82 degrees F, it's been about 2 weeks so I expect larvae to hatch soon.
I put this 3-queen in a petri setup for picture purposes
