I was trying to find Crystal's mealworm setup, but it looks like the link doesn't work anymore. Does anyone have a good setup that can produce hundreds?

Dang. I wonder what's up with the link?

I remember she just put them in a big box with a thick layer of wheat bran. Add some chopped carrots or apples every once in a while for their water. Some people just put in full test tubes of water. I don't think there's much to it beyond that if the box is big enough.

Does this apply to superworms too?

I think they have different needs.

Superworms are cannibalistic if there are babies with them but I don’t think mealworms are. Because of that superworms generally need to be separated by size.

I would honestly just take a tub, fill it with oats and put some cat or dog food granials mixed in (if you have any), and once a week or twice a week, put a carrot or two in. I do this and I have had my mealworm culture for over two years (with adding oats and taking some out when most is consumed).
