Ground beetles, carabidae.
They're good pets on their own but horrible feeders, filled with chemicals and both larvae and adults are predatory.

Now, I’ve found these beetles and their larvae a lot around here while anting. So a couple days ago, I decided to catch some and attempt to breed them, using the larvae as feeders. The larger ones (I assume the females) are around 20 mm, and the small ones (I assume the males) are around half that size.
