Guys,

I need educated advice here! As a few of you know I’m going to ATTEMPT to make and sell my own hand-made AAC formicariums. I’m just going to start with small ones as I don’t know if anyone will even buy them 😂 so my question is... based on the attached image, do you think this will be ok for a ‘small’ size formicarium. The useable size is 8.1 X 5.5cm. Is this too small for a small formicarium or would it be ok? I'm guessing it could hold between about 50-500 ants for a small/medium species?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I thought that Vincex I could barely find one on any websites in the UK.
How much would you pay for the attached formicarium for example? Obviously haven’t put the lid on or the sponges in but just a rough figure?

I would be ok paying $40 USD for that. I think it looks great.

Thanks guys. The main reason I ask is I saw the attached AAC formicarium on the AUS Ants website. It’s a fair bit smaller than mine and they are charging $67?! That seems pretty high to me! I know it’s very well made but $67?!

Yes, Aus ants formicariums look great, but sadly they are a bit too expensive for me.
