In their current setup I’m having workers escape ad I have no clue where they’re escaping from, and I can see a massive pile of pupae and the queen’s pumping out eggs. What other setup besides a formicarium can I use? Would rack of test tube setups suffice?

Proverbs 6:6-8 New International Version (NIV)

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
    consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
    no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
    and gathers its food at harvest.

I would focus on finding out how they are getting out. Sure another setup might stop the problem, but you still wouldn't know if it was a hole they can squeeze through or a problem with the barrier or anything really, so in the future when you change their setup again, you could go right back to having problems.

Use mounting putty to seal all possible gaps. Keep putting it until you see no more escapes. Keep in mind that Camponotus can chew through vinyl tubing and plastic if they want to.

You could use a terrarium.
