Hi all,

The top obviously isn’t on yet but 2nd formicarium is nearly finished. The chambers are only about 10mm deep, should that be ok?

Thanks all

Looks nice, and I think 10 millimetres should be ok.  (y)

10 mm should work for most average sized species. It may be a little small for
Camponotus, though.

What material is this again?

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

I know. It should work fine for them. Just pointing out that if you ever ordered a colony of Camponotus, you’d need a bigger nest.
