Hi all,

As you can see my formicarium is quite deep (the seal is not staying like that by the way). I wondered is there any harm in literally cutting the formicarium in half so I can make 2?
Just wondered if it would make any difference to humidity/watering etc? It just seems like the bottom is wasted space?

Thanks all...

I think that would be a smart way to save material. We can’t even get this stuff on this side of the pond.

Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.

I’ll be honest Drew, it’s really cheap over here, can get it for £1.75 a block! I bought 2 and will last me for the foreseeable future! So with regards to savings materials I’m not too fussed, just didn’t want it to affect the formicarium in any way.
