Looks a little like a Nylanderia queen to me, but if you could get some closer/clearer pictures, that would be great.

Thanks I'll see if I can get some better pictures. It's just been giving me a lot of trouble at the moment.

Maybe Forelius Mccooki or Nylanderia are my 2 guesses but I'm not an expert at identifying ants.

It's impossible to ID Forelius sp. from pictures.

If you are using a phone camera, make sure you hold it 3-4 inches away from the subject.  Get a lot of good lighting.  Don't zoom in too much.

I don't even see pictures. All I see is a subtraction sign. Even after I click on them.

Hi there! I went on a 6 month or so hiatus, in part due, and in part cause of the death of my colonies.

However, I went back to the Sierras, and restarted my collection, which is now as follows:

Aphaenogaster uinta, Camponotus vicinus, Camponotus modoc, Formica cf. aserva, Formica cf. micropthalma, Formica cf. manni, Formica subpolita, Formica cf. subaenescens, Lasius americanus, Manica invidia, Pogonomyrmex salinus, Pogonomyrmex sp. 1, Solenopsis validiuscula, & Solenopsis sp. 3 (new Sierra variant).

That is on your end if you see that.
