Also on a unrelated note, what is your favorite tarheel formicarium.


Question 1: Honestly, test tube holder possibly? Or just for putting ant stuff like vinyl tubing. Making a formicarium out of that would be hard, and turning that into a outworld seems a bit pointless.
Question 2: Mini Hearth (normal or XL) all the way!

That would actually be wonderful for formicarium making, given the smooth bottom. I'm not sure how big it is, but given some plexiglass (or real glass for that matter) I could and would make a nice hydrostone plaster nest.

That could make a great founding chamber! Just add some substrate and you should be good to go!

You can try to add some grout or sand-clay mixture. Looks like a great founding chamber or mini-outworld for ants like Myrmica, basically like a fancy petri dish.

The Palladium. It's actually the only THA formicarium I've ever owned.......  :lol:
