Hi fellow ant keepers! I live in Connecticut and have been keeping ants for 3 years. I joined Formiculture as a way to connect with ant keepers through this pandemic. My favorite species by far has to be tetramorium immigrans! Their extremely fast growth rates and aggressive nature makes them such a fun challenge to keep! Glad to be here with my fellow hobbyists!

I'd say everyone on this forum exists, but I don't want to assume; it's rude to assume someone's existence.

Welcome, jushi! “To be, or nor to be? That is the question.”

As long as we're on the topic of existential quotes, "I think, therefore I am."

That’s what it used to be, although taxonomists have determined that they are two separate species.

Yeah, it's called Tetramorium Immigrans

EDIT: I may be incorrect in the spelling, but at least I don't have to spell some of the harder ant names. I refer to Gate Keeper ants by their 'common' name because I don't feel like torturing myself, although I'm sure Void can spell it. Check him out, he's an amazing guy btw...

Your spelling is correct, although the species name shouldn't be capitalized.
