First few cases and a death reported in South Dakota. Shops are in a frenzy, libraries and other facilities closed.

My school is about to close in a few days. And I can’t make any money because I referee kids soccer games and the fields have closed.

Our district hasn’t closed yet....... that could definitely change very soon.

I work in a hospital. Rumor is one of my coworkers is out with it and we have had a few potential cases. I've heard a housekeeper arguing with their boss about not wanting to be the one to clean those rooms due to children at home. We are already making people sign for boxes of masks and gloves, since patients keep taking them. It's gearing up to be fun fun. We are already expecting drug shortages, but so far nothing is running low yet.

Yeah, I take dance lessons (Hip-hop) and I was supposed to have dance yesterday, but they decided to close it down probably for a couple of weeks. I know for Sioux Falls Christian, they are cancelling all the unimportant events too.

At least all of us in school will hopefully get more time with our ants, if it closes. On the flip side, this is not a laughing matter.

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. -Proverbs 6: 6-8

I think we have less to worry about than the media is telling us. Apparently, the chances of dying from the flu are 10%, whereas the chances of dying from COVID-19 are around 2%. People are treating this like the end of the world when it really isn't...

I don't think the chances of dying from the flu are that high unless you're elderly.

Yeah. You won't really be affected if your younger. Is is really that high for the chance of dying to the flu?

The chance of dying from the flu is 0.1 percent, not 10, so you are twenty times more likely to die from Corona.

Corona is also more contagious than the flu. Yet I agree that people are completely overreacting..........
