Should I buy these test tubes for me to keep my queens in. Is it worth it. Is it a good size for species like Camponotus? If not please tell me what size would be good for Camponotus. Please Reply! Thank You

The value of that purchase isn't very good, if you ask me. Plastic test tubes are often harder to see through, and scratch easily. I use them for collection but never more than as temporary homes. I know that Drew and Greg have a good source for glass test tubes.

Also, I don't think these would work for Camponotus.

No. Hopefully one of them sees this and gives the source. I have plenty of test tubes that I get from the University of Idaho & Oregon State University, so I don't know of other good quality and valued sources.

I prefer glass tubes to plastic or acrylic ones.  I get mine from a local science lab - 150mm x 18mm.

Those look like a good deal if you can get them cheaply, and are a good size.

The 16mm wide also work well. 

Both sizes occasionally go on good sales at various supply stores, or online locations.

I got 10 test tubes(20mm x 150mm) for $8.00. Thank you to everyone who gave me their advice. I bought the test tubes on Amazon

I honestly prefer screw cap glass tubes over standard tubes.  

 

Screw cap tubes have thicker walls and are more durable, and glass is always preferable over plastic.

Well, I have Amazin Prime(free shipping and two day delivery) so that means that the link above would be more expensive and take longer, but if I ever get rid of Amazon Prime I will definitely use that link. Thank You antteen
