Hello.
I was out of the country, and left my ant colony in the hands of a friend who was supposed to hibernate the ants in November, but, upon returning, it turns out that they have not been put in the refrigerator for hibernation.
Is it too late to hibernate the ants now? Or should I put them in the refrigerator until March? Or what would be the best course of action?
Thank you

It is never too late for hibernation. You should definitely chill them until March.

What species do you have? Not too late, for sure.
"The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer." Prov. 30:25
Keep ordinary ants in extraordinary ways.
