Just wondering because this is a very commonly kept species.

Currently Keeping:

Pogonomyrmex Californicus Bicolor & Concolor

Pogonomyrmex Subnitidius

Camponotus Sansabeanus

Pogonomyrmex don't do the best in plastic or acrylic nests to my knowledge. If you want to use a similar horizontal nest for pogonomyrmex I would try a tar heel ants labyrinth or fallen fortress.

Yeah, the only thing is plaster molds fast, so be keen on that

There is a important time for everything, important place for everyone, an important person for everybody, and an important ant for each and every ant keeper and myrmecologist alike
