Because the giant workers attacking the still semi alive insect would be one of the most entertaining things ever

But we wouldn't be able to see it with pictures, there would have to be a video. It also depends on if they have a outworld or not. A semi alive mealworm in the tube could cause serious damage to the brood.

Also camponotous is smart about they're brood. The nanitics of my old colony brought in the mealworm so the queen could kill it. There was always workers with brood moving so the worm couldn't hurt the brood. The other workers helped the queen engage the mealworm

This C. Ca02 has 20ish workers, and I’m waiting for their huge majors.
This colony accepts honey, sugar water, nectar, roaches, mealworms, and fruit flies.
This is one of my more inactive colonies, and I have gave one of my other Ca02 colonies red nectar, and I’m starting to see the effect.

I’m thinking about starting a P.Rugosus journal. Should I?

This is one of my 3 ca02 colonies. I chose to use this one as it was in the front on my ant closet, so I wouldn't have to bother my other ants. This colony has around 30ish workers and a new generation is coming soon. They have a good amount of brood and have lots of fat workers. They also seem to love black soldier fly larvae!

This colony is my biggest ca02 colony. They have lots of pupae and larvae, and I hope they produce majors soon. They devour whatever I give them, except fruit flies. This colony will soon have another batch of workers, this one being the biggest!
