Can some one tell me the species of theys ants.
1. Bristol Connecticut North America
2. 7/16/2019
3. Saved from drowning in my pool I have a bit of trees around my backyard
4. 6/16 of a inch long
5. The are all black and shiny and the queen looks like she has yellow legs
7. All the workers and the queen are very shy

Those workers Look like Tetramorium immigrans

Could you get a picture closer to the ants? That would greatly help people find the exact genus and species. Thanks!


Lasius Neoniger (Around 23ish workers)

Tetramorium Immigran (8 Workers)

Myrmica Queen (Not 100% on species)

Formica Subsericea (No workers)

Ok i will try and get some better
photos but when I looked up Tetramorium immigrans queen They were an exact match
