What means when a pupa its getting brown? That means its almost ready to be an ant?

Thank you. Now I am trying to move my colony to a new test tube but they seem not to want to move.They have a lamp that it's on. But they don't want to move. Please help me.

I want to move them because the water it's almost gone

Is the water really completely depleted or can the colony wait a little longer ?

Yes they are in another test tube and the water will take like 1-2 days to be gone

I believe that if you keep the test tubes accessible to eachother / connected, they will move out by themselves if the moisture really does run out.
