pretty cool, it's been cool lately and i found this bed/colony by a water hose that is hooked up to my water heater (it broke started leaking bad and sealed the other of the end of the hose off) still leaks a little bit, these ants built the nest around it so they could warm up....

 

 

 


Ant Queens found:

 

Solenopsis Invicta,  Solenopsis xyloni,  Brachymyrmex depilis/Sp,  Myrmecocystus Mimicus,  Pogonomyrmex barbatus,

Forelius pruinosus,  Camponotus sayi, Dorymyrmex insanus, crematogaster ashmeadi,

Hahaha, my Crematogaster do this with their heat cable. :)
